A Few Less Baskets

These are the ones that didn't make the

final cut (except for a couple I gave to a friend).

 

Not that many, I know.  It was difficult
to get rid of baskets.  Some of these are vintage
and some are newer.  Some I've had for around
40 years.  So I am giving myself credit for cutting down somewhat.  You have to start somewhere.

Next I am redoing the Potting Shed and the
guest room.  These are MAJOR projects.....

A tisket, a tasket, way too many baskets

 

I have started gathering my collection of baskets. Grab a beverage,

this is a long post....

 

The two previous pictures are various baskets that were

scattered around the house and did not include

basket of cat toys

 

basket by the fireplace

 

basket holding junk things under the coffee table

 

corks collected for days years

baskets for recycle and garbage in the office.

 

Now, how do I decide which of these to get

rid of?  There are many more    some more

that aren't pictured.  It is an illness  a weakness that

I have had for years.  

 

How do you decide which items in a collection you will

part with?  I am in the process of simplifying things.  But I have

found that it is NOT simple to simplify.  This is only one of

many a few collections I am paring down.  Any advice will

be grudgingly taken under advisement happily received.

How many is too many???

 



Somebodys Birthday

Today is Tinker Belles' Birthday.

 

I picked her up a couple of days after she was

spayed.

 

 

 

She is a very sweet little one.

 

 

 

 

A bit of a princess at times. (but not

the least bit spoiled)

 

 

 

 

A character, and a clown.

 

 

 

 

But the most wonderful companion cat

I have ever had.  As I type she is

with me like this picture.

Vacation in Palm Springs, CA

My husband and I just got back from

a vacation to Palm Springs, CA.  We drove

down. The place we stayed was great.

He visited us regularly.

We went up in the tram that goes up to 8500 feet!

It is always nice to get back to
our beautiful northwest.

We are thinking about going back.  It
was a fun trip and it was great to get
away from our NW drippy   rainy
weather!!
